Edelbrock and the Center for Learning Unlimited have once again teamed up in support of helping children with learning disabilities to present the 4th Annual Rev'ved Up 4 Kidz VIP gala charity auction and car show, April 25-26, 2009.

The weekend kicks off Saturday evening as Christi Edelbrock, Edelbrock Vice President of Purchasing and event organizer, hosts a special gala dinner and charity auction at "Vic's Garage" located within Edelbrock headquarters in Torrance, CA. This fundraiser event plays host to a VIP dinner, live and silent auction, entertainment and celebrity guest appearances.

Sunday Edelbrock hosts the Rev'ved Up 4 Kidz Car Show. All makes and models are welcome and interested participants can pre-register at www.revvedup4kidz.com. Cost for car entry participation is $30.00 (advance) or $35.00 (day of show). Show hours are 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and space is limited. Spectator entry is free however donations are accepted and appreciated. Vendors space is available and vendors are welcomed.

In addition the 2009 Rev'ved Up 4 Kidz Charity car show will play host to the "Hot Rodders of Tomorrow" Engine Challenge, an engine build competition for auto technology and high school students. This event, presented by Race and Performance Expo, originated in the Chicago, IL area and is now expanding to regional competitions in a bracket style tournament. "This competition is great for all involved", states Edelbrock President, Vic Edelbrock. "It exposes young adults to the excitement and passion of the automotive industry and it gives them the opportunity to achieve real accomplishment. Edelbrock got involved through our friend and business partner, Jim Bingham, whose goal is to grow this competition and cultivate the next crop of automotive industry talent".

"I am very passionate about the infinite possibilities of networking with our business partners to raise awareness and funding for such a wonderful cause", states Christi Edelbrock. "This year's benefit is especially important to the Center for Learning Unlimited to aid in their relocation to a new facility in Torrance, CA. This new location will further expand the support of special needs children and their families."

All event proceeds go to the Center for Learning Unlimited.
