By The Numbers
Jeff Goodell of Greer, SC, is an accountant by day and tuner by night. For someone who likes numbers that much, it is no surprise to learn that Jeff makes exactly 503.98 rear-wheel horsepower in his personal '05 GTO, according to its owner and pilot. To make this impressive power, Jeff is using a set of Advanced Induction CNC-ported cylinder heads mated to a Flowtech Induction "Tiger Shark" camshaft. A ported FAST 90mm intake manifold brings in the air while a set of Kooks 1 7/8-inch long-tube headers help it down a set of off-road mid-pipes and into a Magna-Flow exhaust. The stock transmission is home to a Yank SS3600 converter, which turns a set of 3.91 rear gears. For track time Jeff rides on 15x3.5 and 15x8-inch Weld Pro Star wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson ET Drags. Special thanks to Kyle Barnett for the great picture of Jeff in action.
